我國古代的貨幣(主要是金屬鑄幣)大致可分為兩類:一類是正用品錢,即具備貨幣的職能,可以正式行用的,用通俗的話講就是能花的錢;另一類是非正式行用的錢幣,雖然鑄造成錢幣的形制,但卻不具備貨幣的職能。這就是指花錢,花錢不用於流通,主要用於避邪取吉。
