英国时间6月10日下午，凯特王妃领着乔治小王子和夏洛特小公主坐在草坪上，观看威廉王子参加一场慈善马球赛。
On Sunday (Jun 10), members of the British royal family enjoyed the outdoors at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy in England. Duchess Kate, Prince George and Princess Charlotte camped out on the grass to watch Prince William play in the charity game.
看表情兄妹俩都很哈皮啊，不过看不看马球就是另一回事了。
As kids do, the prince and princess were more interested in playing than watching dad compete.
但是4岁的乔治王子，因为一张玩具手枪的图，成了推特上的热点。当时乔治拿着玩具枪假装射击，瞄准对象包括其他孩子甚至妈妈凯特。
Prince George was at the centre of a Twitter storm after the four-year-old was pictured playing with a toy gun. The young royal was seen pretending to shoot the plastic firearm at other children and even his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge.

推特用户们很快就质疑起来：为啥要允许他玩枪呢，还有很多人联想到了现在英国不断增多的暴力犯罪问题。
Twitter users questioned why he had been allowed to play with the toy gun, with many of those pointing to the current surge in violent crime that has hit the UK.
“这不是开玩笑啊，很多人因此丢掉性命，因为他们的孩子以为是玩具手枪，结果是真枪。”
“这就不是开玩笑了，我是英美混血，我的一半美国血统对此很反感，因为美国每天都有枪支暴力，而我一半的英国血统认为ok。现在的时代，不应该再有孩子把枪支看作一个玩具。这看上去太像真枪了（我也爱乔治王子，别误会）。”
“这是今天马球比赛中唯一令人失望的事。 我也没有任何玩具枪——为什么要玩一个你从来不应该使用的东西呢（哭泣表情）。不应该埋怨凯特一个人，我们不知道玩具是谁的，但是应该有人站出来说这不对。”
不过也有网友持相反的观点，玩具枪才不会让小孩子变成暴力的大人。
On the other hand, people are upset by the outrage. They say that — on its own — the act of playing with a toy gun won't make a child a violent adult.
“他们不会告诉你，乔治的玩具还有手铐，也就是说他们在玩扮演警察的游戏。我们都是这么长大的，《使命召唤》这样的游戏又怎么样？对于孩子和王室家庭来说，这不公平。”

One wrote: "Can’t believe people are booting off about Prince George playing with a toy gun and handcuffs! He’s a child most likely playing cops and robbers! People are so dramatic."
显然网友达不成一致了，媒体也赶紧找专家来解读一番：
“应该允许孩子玩儿玩具枪吗？专家分析乔治王子照片后的愤怒”
肯辛顿宫目前还没有针对此事发表看法。
A spokesperson for Kensington Palace said it had no comment on the reaction to the photos.
不过世纪君估摸着，也不会再发表啥看法了。
