各位聽眾大家好，我是來自有道考神團隊的馮騰飛，到了我們每日一俚的時間，我們今天和各位分享的俚語是Green thumb。
要按字面來翻譯的話就成了：綠色的大拇指。那麼它究竟是什麼意思呢?其實就是指那些很會種花種菜的人。換句話說，在這些人的手下，植物都生長得很好。這些green thumbs有時還很受到別人的羨慕。
我們一起來看一個例子：
"I sure wish I had a green thumb like Mr Jones next door. Every year he grows the best tomatoes and sweet corn in our whole neighborhood. And his roses are absolutely beautiful!"
這個人說："我真希望我也能像我鄰居瓊斯先生那樣能把花和菜種得那麼好。他種的西紅柿和老玉米在我們這個居民區裡每年都是最好的。另外，他種的玫瑰化簡直是漂亮極了! "
