Hope只要心存希望，并把这种希望转化成强烈的渴望，那我们一定能找到解决问题的方法，主人公安迪对自由强烈的渴望，即使在监狱里也能找到出去的办法。Patience and Perseverance耐心和坚持，安迪将近用了20年的时间凿开了隧道，终于成功了，这也是现实中很多获得成功的人共同的特点。就像健身一样，有的人能坚持几年甚至几十年，慢慢地和同时起跑但是没有坚持人差距拉得很大。Keep learning不断地学习，主人公安迪让监狱里的人学习知识，他希望通过学习，让他们能有一技之长，出狱后就不会迷茫，甚至可以找到工作做。哈佛大学前校长德里克博克曾说过一句话：“ If you think education is expensive, try ignorance!”（如果你认为教育的成本太高，试试看无知的代价。）只要选对了方向，就不怕路远！
