從字面上看是美好的一天，但其引申義為“突然有一天”,“總有一天”。
我有10年沒見他了，突然有一天他出現了。
the other day類似於recently，意思是“前兩天”、“不久以前”。“另外某一天”可以用another day來表示，它還含有“又一天，再一天”的意思。
前幾天，我看到了你哥哥。
pass the time of day是個習慣用語，意思為“寒暄”、“問候”、“聊一會”。
