二、每課一句
I don't have any small pads. I only have large ones.
本課側重學習的是動詞have表“有”的用法。
其基本用法為：
sb. have/has sth.
某人有某物
如：
We have some apples.
我們有些蘋果。
He has some pens.
他有些鋼筆。
其否定表達為：
sb. do / does not have sth.
如：
We do not have any apples.
He does not have any pens.
其一般疑問句為：
- Do / Does sb. have sth.?
- Yes, sb. do/does.
- No, sb. don't/doesn't.
如：
- Do you have any apples?
- Yes, we do. / No, we don't.
- Does he have any pens?
- Yes, he does. / No, he doesn't.
其特殊疑問句為：
特殊疑問詞+ do / does + sb. + have + 其他成分 + ?
如：
We have some apples.
如果對some提問，其問題為：
How many apples do you have?
再比如：
He has some pens.
如果對pens提問，其問題為：
What does he have?
【注意】
在英式英語中，當have表示“有”，有時可以直接用作助動詞，如：
We have some apples.
其否定可以直接在have後面加not，如：
We have not any apples.
其問句也可直接把have提到前面，如：
Have you any apples?
但是，以上用法除了在英式英語中，在當代英語中不太常用。
三、更多拓展
- What else do you want? - I want my change.
注意這句話中的else用作形容詞，表示“別的；其他的”，它一般只能用來修飾不定代詞或疑問代詞或副詞。如：
There's not much else I can say.
我沒什麼別的要說。
He loves money above everything else.
他愛錢勝過一切。
What else have you had for your birthday?
你還收到了別的什麼生日禮物？
Where else can you get a ruler?
你還能在哪兒搞到一把尺子？
此外，要注意對話中的答句“I want my change.”，這句話其實是頗有詼諧口吻的。
這是因為，在該對話中，當店員用want來詢問女士時，他原本是想問女士還想要買些什麼東西，而該女士回答時也用了want，這樣即回答了店員的問題，又表明了自己不再想要買其他東西，並且同時又提醒了店員得給自己找零了。
