二、treat的常用搭配：
1)treat sb. for … 治療
例如：The doctor treated me for my broken leg. 醫生治療了我骨折的腿。
Which doctor is treating you for your illness? 哪個醫生在給你看病？
2) treat sb. to …款待
例如：I ‘ll treat you to dinner.我想請你吃飯。
You might as well treat me to an ice- cream.你請我吃杯冰淇淋得了。
She treated me to the theatre/the cinema. 她請我看戲(電影)）。
3) treat … as … 把……當做……
例如：The teacher treated us as her friends. 老師把我們當作她的朋友。
They treated me as a member of the family.他們把我當家里人看待。
I decided to treat his remark as a joke.我決定把他的話當作戲言。
I am determined to treat myself to a taxi. 我決定坐一次出租車。
4) treat sb with sth. 以……方式對待某人
例如：she treats the child with kindness 她待那孩子很好。
They treated us with friendliness. 他們對我們很友好
They treated us with frankness. 他們對我們很坦率。
They treated us with courtesy. 他們對我們彬彬有禮。
He treated the old with respect 他尊敬老人。
5) treat 後還可接as if 引導的從句：
例如：she treated me as if I were a child. 她待我就像對待孩子一樣。
此外：常用搭配有medical treatment 藥物治療， hospital treatment 住院治療，
ill-treat vt. 虐待
