霏霏初过

处处烁着光彩
柳舞新绿
鸟鸣声轻
蓝天无云
正是清明气派
想牧之一去千年
欲断魂人还在
虽酒家无处不有
然牧笛再无
牧童不再

It's still the scene of red peaches and white plums blossoming
Azaleas all over the mountains and plains
Peonies and roses blooming
Saturating rain just ceased
Raindrops glittering
Crystal light sparkled everywhere
Willows dancing with new green
Birds twittering lightly
Under the clear cloudless blue sky
What an elegant demeanour of Pure Brightness Festival it is
Recalling that Du Mu has gone a thousand years
But the scene of spirit-broken travelers on the way of tomb-sweeping is still same
Though Restaurants are everywhere
The shepherd Flute is no more
The shepherd boy is no longer
