Boat通常比较小，较大的boat要数上图中的这种游船了。Boat不是各种船的统称（有些母语者也会误用），正确的说法是watercraft。
(1) Boat 船
The fishing boat can only fit about 3-5 people with all the equipment.
这条渔船只能盛下3-5个人加上设备。
(2) Ship 轮船
There are life boats on the ship.
轮船上有救生艇。
(3) Liner 客轮；邮轮
The cruise liner will stop at 5 locations on the Nile for guests to explore the port cities.
游轮会在尼罗河的5个地方停靠，游客们可以探索这些港口城市。
Cruise liner指以游览为目的邮轮，也就是“游轮”。
(4) Ferry 渡轮；渡船；摆渡
在河流或较小海域间运送人或车辆。
The ferry takes people into the mainland for their daily commute at 7 am.
渡轮早7点会把人们带到大陆上，供人们每日通勤。
