(4) 這個終於是複合句了，{why......}引導的賓語從句做asked的直接賓語。(5) asked......| and even described......是並列謂語。(6) keep sth. done是複合賓語，{locked away}是過去分詞短語做賓語補足語。(7) [(that/in which) they were done up in bundles]是定語從句修飾the way。在定語從句中指代the way的that/in which可以省略。
