德國大學量子研究新成果!為石墨烯量子計算技術奠定基礎

近期,《納米快報》報道了德國亞琛工業大學(RWTH)團隊首次成功演示石墨烯雙量子點可將電子數控制到零的過程。此次成果遠非抽象的學術噱頭,而是為未來實現基於石墨烯的量子計算技術奠定基礎。

RWTH的一名研究人員表示,掌握和控制量子點中電子的精確信息是自旋量子信息技術的關鍵,在石墨烯自旋量子信息技術的發展道路上,仍有很多問題需要解決。

The first demonstration of graphene double quantum dots in which it is possible to control the number of electrons down to zero has been reported in Nano Letters. Far from an abstract academic stunt, the results could prove key to future implementations of quantum computing based on graphene.

According to a researcher at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, having exact information and control over the number of electrons in the dots is essential for spin based quantum information technology, and there are still many problems to be solved on the road toward spin-based quantum information technology in graphene.
