Hello from Sam Francisco（你好，舊金山）
Hello Mom!（媽媽你好）
I am writing in the bedroom of my apartment in San Francisco.（我在舊金山公寓的臥室裡寫東西）San Francisco is a big city,（舊金山是一個大城市）and there are many bicycles and cars...and hills!（有很多自行車和汽車……還有山丘）My apartment is small and near the park.（我的公寓很小，靠近公園）The apartment is purple and green,（公寓是紫色和綠色）and it has a small living room,（它有一個小客廳）bedroom and kitchen,（臥室和廚房）and three big windows.（還有三個大窗戶）I have a television in the living room and a radio in the kitchen.（我在客廳裡有一臺電視，在廚房裡有一臺收音機））I listen to the radio when I am cooking.（做飯時我聽收音機）
I am a teacher at a small school near my apartment.（我是我公寓附近一所小學校的老師）I have twelve students...and two gray hairs!（我有十二個學生...兩根白髮）Three students are from Japan,（三個學生來自日本）six are from Mexico,（六個來自墨西哥）two are from China,（兩個來自中國）and one is from Russia.（一個來自俄羅斯）
My students live near my apartment.（我的學生們在我公寓附近）We love the park:（我們喜歡公園）It has green trees and pink,（公園裡種著綠樹和粉紅色）yellow,and red flowers.（黃色和紅色的花朵）The park is not far from many coffe shops in the city,（公園離城市裡很多咖啡店都不遠）here we love drinking coffee...cups and cups of coffee!（我們喜歡喝咖啡...咖啡）
My apartment is also near the Golden Gate Bridge-a big,（我的公寓也在金門大橋附近）red bridge.（那是一座紅色的大橋）I love walking on the bridge and watching the boats under the bridge.（我喜歡在橋上行走，看著橋下的船）
How are you,Mom?（媽媽，你好嗎？）How is Dad?（爸爸怎麼樣？）Tell Dad and Grandpa''Hello.''（告訴爸爸和爺爺‘’你好‘’）
I am far from you,Mom,（媽媽，我離你很遠）but I love you.（但是我愛你）
