昨晚對於很多籃球球迷來說可能都是個不眠之夜。
北京時間的2月25日凌晨2點，主題為生命的禮讚的科比-布萊恩特追思會將在洛杉磯斯臺普斯中心舉行。
當地時間1月26日，41歲的科比布萊恩特、其女兒吉安娜布萊恩特和其他7人在美國加利福尼亞州的一起直升機墜機事故中不幸罹難。
這次追悼會是科比的妻子瓦妮莎在科比逝世後首次公開露面，她發表了感人至深的演講，紀念科比以及兩人的女兒吉安娜。
The wife of Kobe Bryant spoke publicly for the first time at the memorial for him and their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who were killed along with seven others last month in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
演講時，他一邊流淚一邊說道：科比是我非常親近的朋友，就像我的小兄弟一樣，我們過去無話不談。
“Maybe it surprised people … but we were very close friends,” said Jordan.“Everyone always wanted to talk about the comparisons between he and I. I just wanted to talk about Kobe.”
儘管是對手，喬丹說科比經常打電話向他請教籃球技術，儘管剛開始被吵醒很生氣，但很快兩人就興致勃勃討論起籃球。
“At first, it was an aggravation,” he said. “But then it turned into a certain passion. This kid had passion like you would never know. “He wanted to be the best basketball player that he could be,” Jordan continued. “And as I got to know him, I wanted to be the best big brother that I could be.”
在演講中，喬丹開了一個玩笑緩解現場的氣氛：“接下來3-4年，我將不得不看著我的另一個哭泣表情包火了，這是科比對我做的。我跟我妻子說，我不想去參加追思會，因為我可不想在接下來3-4年時間裡看我的哭泣表情包。”
“I told my wife I wasn’t going to do this because I didn’t want to see this for another three or four years,” cracked Jordan, drawing a wave of laughter. “This is what Kobe Bryant does to you.”
最後，喬丹流著淚說：“當科比去世，我身體的一部分也死去了。”令所有人淚目。
