中小顯示屏市場佔據OLED材料市場總量的59%,這種狀況將持續至2022年。電視市場方面,DSCC預計噴墨印刷將促進生產商降低OLED電視製作的材料成本,且OLED電視材料將以23%的速度增長,從2017年的3.44億美元增至2022年的9.63億美元。

DSCC認為OLED照明市場將快速增長(複合年增長率43%),但材料使用將維持小幅增長,2022年將達6900萬美元(高於2017年的1100萬美元)。

所有OLED材料製造商中擁有最大市場份額的公司是Universal Display(美國),並有望以30%的複合年增長率擴張其市場份額。預計到2022年,UDC銷售額將達6億美元。陶氏杜邦(Dow Dupont)(美國)和默克(Merck)(德國)將成為第二大和第三大供應商,2022年的市場份額將分別達到15%和14%。

Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) says that OLED material revenues grew 43% to reach $869 million in 2017. DSCC expects the OLED material market to grow at a 24% CAGR until 2022, when the market will reach $2.56 billion.

The small/medium display market accounts to about 59% of the total OLED material market, and this will continue until 2022. For the TV market, DSCC expects ink-jet printing to enable producers to make lower the material costs of OLED TV production, and OLED TV materials will grow at a rate of 23%, from $344 in 2017 to $963 million in 2022.

DSCC sees fast growth (43% CAGR) in the OLED lighting market, but material usage will remain small and reach $69 million in 2022 (up from $11 million in 2017).

The company with the largest market share of all OLED material makers is Universal Display, which is expected to increase its market share and grow at a CAGR of 30%. UDC sales in 2022 are expected to reach $600 million in 2022. Dow Dupont and Merck will be the 2nd and 3rd largest suppliers, with market share of 15% and 14% in 2022, respectively.

It is interesting to see that DSCC does not expect TADF makers Cynora and Kyulux to achieve significant shares, these two companies are not even included in DSCC's report.
