There was once a guy who suffered from an incurable cancer. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime.
從前，有個少年患了癌症，根本無法醫治。他只有18歲，隨時都可能死去。
One day he was walking down his block when he noticed a beautiful girl about his age in a CD store and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her.
一天，他走在大街上，注意到一家音像店裡一位非常漂亮的同齡女孩，他明白自己對她是一見鍾情。少年打開門，走了進去，始終注視著女孩一個人。
She looked up and asked, “Can I help you?”
女孩抬頭問道：“你想要點什麼?”
She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he had ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.
她微笑著，他覺得這是一直以來見過的最美麗的笑容，並且此時此地，他萌發了一種想吻她的慾望。
He said, “Uh...Yeah...Umm...I would like to buy a CD.”He picked one out and gave her money for it.
他結結巴巴地說：“是的，嗯，那個……我想買一張CD。” 他挑了一張CD，然後付了錢。
“Would you like me to wrap it for you?” she asked, smiling her cute smile again.
“需要我把它包起來嗎?”女孩問，臉上再次洋溢著可愛的笑容。
He nodded and she went to the back. She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him.
他點了點頭。她走到後臺，出來時，手裡拿著包裝好的CD，然後交給了他。
He went home and from then on, he went to that store every day and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her. So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store as usual. He bought a CD like he did every day and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...
他回家了。從那以後，這個少年每天都會到那家音像店去，並且每次都會買一張CD，而女孩呢，則每次都將CD包好交給他。他也總是把CD帶回家，並將它放進自己的衣櫃裡。這個少年一直很羞澀，沒有勇氣約她出來，但他真的很想這樣做，卻又不能。後來母親看出了他的心思，便建議他去邀請女孩。所以，第二天，他鼓足勇氣，像往常一樣走進了音像店，像往常一樣買了一張CD，女孩再一次到後臺為他包起來。他接過CD，趁她不注意時，將自己的電話號碼放在櫃檯上，然後跑了出去……

叮鈴鈴鈴!!!
One day the phone rang, and the mother picked it up and said, “Hello?”
一天，電話鈴響了，母親接起電話，說：“喂?”
It was the girl!!! The mother started to cry and said, “You don't know? He passed away yesterday...”
是那個女孩打來的!!!母親傷心地哭起來，她說：“你不知道嗎？他昨天去世了……”
The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother. Later in the day, the mother was surprised to find piles and piles of unopened CDs in the boy's closet and inside the wrappers, she found a piece of paper saying “Hi...I think you are really cute. Do you wanna go out with me? Love, Jocelyn.”
電話線那端沉默了，只能聽到男孩母親的抽泣聲。那天晚些時候，母親驚奇地發現兒子的衣櫃裡有一大堆從未打開過的CD。在其中一張包好的CD中，她發現了一張紙條，上面寫道：嗨，你好，我覺得你真的很可愛，願意和我一起出去嗎？喬瑟琳。
So love is...when you've had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, “I Love You.”
愛就是，當你作了巨大的思想鬥爭，最終決定拋開自我束縛，攥緊手，說出“我愛你”。
