《迷失》是当时最热美剧，一时风光无二。编者到2008年才看，这部悬疑烧脑剧当时给还是少年的编者制造了极大的震撼，那是看《老友记》和《越狱》所不曾有的感觉。故事虽然设定在一个岛上，弹丸之地，制作团队却雄心勃勃，铺下一张大网，在这网上大做文章。这些飞机失事的幸存者在找寻离岛方式时意外发现岛上已有人类文明痕迹，但却不知道时为什么。岛上时常还有潜伏暗处的未明生物或非生物发出古怪声响。在他们的生存之路和对谜团的探索中，发现这个岛屿有如迷宫，谜团越解越多。编剧挖下巨坑，引人一步步入坑，可惜坑太大，最后连编剧自己都难圆其说。不过这部剧给对人性的描绘，人世间的生离死别，命运因果都有深刻阐述。

这部剧放在众多优秀的美剧当中显得是比较平庸的。它探讨的东西并不多，主要目标就是锁定观众的肾上腺素。越狱类题材，应该难再有作品能超出《肖申克的救赎》的高度了。《越狱》是很多人的美剧启蒙剧，这部剧节奏紧张，剧情跌宕起伏，引人入胜，其塑造的角色每个都各领风骚，特别令人不忘的应该是智商超群，勇谋齐备的高材生迈克尔和超级变态男T-bag了。Michael 是优秀到极致，Teabag邪魅到极致。令人回味的，就是窝在宿舍和室友们一起喝冷饮，吃西瓜，看《越狱》的快乐日子了。
