萬豪國際集團大中華區商委會宣佈，將於2018年9月16日在大中華區舉行年度“Run to Give”慈善跑，並於9月9日在 ‘我要跑APP’ 開啟為期8天的線上參與活動。屆時，9月16日的線下活動將由同一城市的萬豪旗下酒店共同發起，以實際行動支持國際公益組織‘微笑行動’，號召當地員工與客人 ‘為愛奔跑，跑出微笑’，呼籲關注與幫助貧困唇顎裂患兒。
Marriott Greater China Business Councils announced that its ‘Run to Give’ charity run will take place across China on September 16th , 2018. In addition, an eight-day on-line running campaign will be activated on September 9th by partnering with ‘Woyaopao APP’. The on-site event on September 16th will brings hotel associates and guests together to participate runs in different cities to support ‘Operation Smile’ in hope to create more awareness to children with cleft lip or cleft palate in China.
一年一度的“Run to Give”慈善跑是萬豪國際集團“TakeCare”關懷計劃在亞太區組織的重要活動。“TakeCare”關懷計劃旨在幫助員工提升身體、情緒和精神層面的健適狀態，培養更高的團隊凝聚力。萬豪國際集團大中華區商委會主席潘小鶯女士表示，“萬豪員工熱愛健康和精彩的生活，同時也在無時無刻傳遞著我們的核心價值觀——服務世界。微笑行動也在用心服務著中國的唇顎裂兒童，每年參與微笑手術的萬豪志願者們見證了這一切。對於患兒來說，微笑能改變一切。我們相信今年在全國萬豪旗下酒店攜手的力量下，能夠支持微笑行動為更多患兒創造義診機會，讓他們的生命充滿微笑和希望。”
The annual ‘Run to Give’ is a key event in Asia Pacific under the company’s ‘TakeCare’ movement, which aims to encourage associates to live their best life by promoting physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and creating strong team synergy. Angela Pan, the Guidance Team Member of Marriott Worldwide Business Councils Greater China, remarked, “Marriott associates have passion on healthy and wonderful life, meanwhile, they deliver Marriott core value of Serving Our World. Operation Smile China also dedicates in serving children with cleft lips and palates in China and that has been witnessed by Marriott volunteers who participate in OS mission each year. For those cleft children, “Smile Changes Everything”, we believe with the joint efforts of Marriott hotels in China, we could support Operation Smile to carry out more missions and let our cleft children live a new life with smiles and hopes.”
今年上海的2018 “Run to Give” 慈善跑將於9月16日上午8點30分在上海佘山茂御臻品之選酒店舉行，全程3公里。
The 2018 “Run to Give” held in The Yuluxe She Shan, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Shanghai at 8:30 am on September 16th will cover 3KM.

Operation Smile (“OS”) is an international medical charity which performs safe, effective cleft lip and cleft palate surgery, and delivers postoperative and ongoing medical therapies to children in low and middle income countries. Operation Smile was founded in 1982 and has provided free surgeries for more than 270,000 children and young adults. Since conducting its first medical mission to China in 1991, Operation Smile has had 27 years experience in serving the underprivilege children and families and provided surgeries for more than 30,000 patients with cleft lip and palate.
