英語“使用能力”訓練：heads-up什麼意思？
用英語學英語是英語學習中最難的能力(最難的部分)：在我們要學習的英語內容已經構成很大難度的同時還要去消化英語解釋中可能出現的“新知”，一般人不具備這樣大的“吸能”能力，所以我們寧願放棄這部分用於解釋的英語而轉向直接用中文理解，只保留要學習的那個內容。但用中文學英語事倍功半後遺症也由此產生。這有點“買櫝還珠”的意思。
但是，在你用這些英語理解記憶英語的同時，你也就訓練了口語。這是用中文學，中文理解，中文記憶所達不到的學習效果。貫穿你每一次不同內容的英語學習中，一定有一個相同的語言能力的反覆訓練。
這就是“魚”“漁”兼顧。

如果讓你自己“用”英語解釋heads-up，你會“用”什麼英語詞？to remind? reminding?看了人家用warning，你一下“明白了”。
這就是Yahoo英英字典的“修正”功能：在英語語言環境中學習語言，在英語語言環境中修正英語。
heads-up：
1. an advance warning of something.
2. showing alertness
3. a warning,or a warning message
4. fully alert and watchful,just like a sentinel on duty

2. heads-up means showing alertness,or be on alert
Examples：
1. The heads-up came just in time to stop the tanks from launching the final assault.
2. Send a heads-up to the Pentagon about possible attacks.
3. Thank you for the heads-up
