大清銀幣（宣統三年），由喬治親自設計並雕刻。目前“曲須龍”除了簽字外，並無在字體、圖案上的變化，因此可以認為，“曲須龍”的字面和龍面，均為喬治親自設計及敲定，他的簽名也在簽字版上兩面都出現過。
和其他四款樣幣相比，“曲須龍”可能少了一些誇張和革新，多了一些協調和傳統，相信這是中西方雕刻師爭執與妥協的結果，也是最終能通過“比稿”原因之一。事實上，“曲須龍”並不缺乏威嚴霸氣，更是在細節上表現得更加細膩和精美，成為“國幣”也就在情理之中了。
