1.nǐ jiāng yōng yǒu yī gè qū tǐ 。
你可以喜之也可以惡之，但它畢生都會屬於你。
nǐ kě yǐ xǐ zhī yě kě yǐ è zhī ，dàn tā bì shēng dōu huì shǔ yú nǐ 。
2. you will learn lessons.
you are enrolled in a full-time informal school called life. each day in this school you will learn lessons. you may like the lessons or think them irrelevant and stupid.

你入讀了一所叫做"生活"的大學的全日制非正式學校。在學校的每一天你都將接受教育。你可以愛你所愛或者視之無聊而又豪無裨益。
nǐ rù dú le yī suǒ jiào zuò "shēng huó "de dà xué de quán rì zhì fēi zhèng shì xué xiào 。zài xué xiào de měi yī tiān nǐ dōu jiāng jiē shòu jiāo yù 。nǐ kě yǐ ài nǐ suǒ ài huò zhě shì zhī wú liáo ér yòu háo wú bì yì 。
3. there are no mistakes, only lessons.
growth is a process of trial and error: experimentation. the "failed" experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately "works".
3.沒有過失，只有教訓。
3.méi yǒu guò shī ，zhī yǒu jiāo xùn 。

a lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. once learned, you then go on to the next lesson.

4.tóng yàng de jiāo xùn huì bú duàn zhòng fù zhí dào nǐ zhēn zhèng lǐng wù wéi zhǐ 。
同樣的教訓會以不同的形式不斷出現在你面前直到你學會為止。而一旦你學會了，就會馬上進入下一課的學習。
tóng yàng de jiāo xùn huì yǐ bú tóng de xíng shì bú duàn chū xiàn zài nǐ miàn qián zhí dào nǐ xué huì wéi zhǐ 。ér yī dàn nǐ xué huì le ，jiù huì mǎ shàng jìn rù xià yī kè de xué xí 。
5. learning lessons does not end.
there is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. if you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.
5.學無止境。
5.xué wú zhǐ jìng 。
生活的每個部分無不包含可學之處。只要活著，你就學無止境。
shēng huó de měi gè bù fèn wú bú bāo hán kě xué zhī chù 。zhī yào huó zhe ，nǐ jiù xué wú zhǐ jìng 。
6. "there" is no better than "here".
when your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here".
當你終於擁有了不曾擁有的東西，你只會發現自己又在嚮往別的東西，它們看起來總比你擁有的東西要好些。
dāng nǐ zhōng yú yōng yǒu le bú céng yōng yǒu de dōng xī ，nǐ zhī huì fā xiàn zì jǐ yòu zài xiàng wǎng bié de dōng xī ，tā men kàn qǐ lái zǒng bǐ nǐ yōng yǒu de dōng xī yào hǎo xiē 。
7. others are merely mirrors of you.
you cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself.
7.他人只是你的鏡子。
7.tā rén zhī shì nǐ de jìng zǐ 。
不要去愛慕或憎惡別人的品性，除非這些品性在你自己身上也能找到，而你以同樣的態度處之。
bú yào qù ài mù huò zēng è bié rén de pǐn xìng ，chú fēi zhè xiē pǐn xìng zài nǐ zì jǐ shēn shàng yě néng zhǎo dào ，ér nǐ yǐ tóng yàng de tài dù chù zhī 。
8. what you make of your life is up to you.
you have all the tools and resources you need.
what you do with them is up to you. the choice is yours.
8.要過怎樣的生活由你作主。
8.yào guò zěn yàng de shēng huó yóu nǐ zuò zhǔ 。
你掌握著陸一切你所需的工具和資源，怎麼用全由你作主。決策權在你手中。
nǐ zhǎng wò zhe lù yī qiē nǐ suǒ xū de gōng jù hé zī yuán ，zěn me yòng quán yóu nǐ zuò zhǔ 。jué cè quán zài nǐ shǒu zhōng 。
9. the answers to life's questions lie inside you.
all you need to do is look, listen and trust.
9.生活的答案皆藏心中。
9.shēng huó de dá àn jiē cáng xīn zhōng 。
你只須觀察，聆聽和信任。
nǐ zhī xū guān chá ，líng tīng hé xìn rèn 。
10. you will forget all of this.
10.生活中你會忘記所有這些準則。
10.shēng huó zhōng nǐ huì wàng jì suǒ yǒu zhè xiē zhǔn zé 。
