hit it off 很常見的用法，指“與 ... 合得來，一見如故，性情相投，相處得很好”

2. Sour grapes. 嫉妒
sour grapes 非常的直譯 “酸葡萄心理（指某人因得不到某物而稱該事物不好），嫉妒”，同理也可說 The grapes are sour.
I hope there are not any sour grapes between you two.
我希望你倆之間不會有任何酸葡萄 (嫉妒) 心理。
Her remarks were a typical case of sour grapes.
她說的話是典型的酸葡萄心理。
3. You are way out of your league.
你簡直是在不自量力
way在口語當中經常作為副詞 “非常，遠遠地，大大地” 修飾句子，起加強語氣作用
It seems like I'm always way too busy with work.
我工作總是太忙了。
His ideas were way ahead of his time.
他的思想遠遠超越了他那個時代。
league 本身是名詞“社團，聯盟”，be out of sb's league 高攀不上某人，配不上某人
He is out of your league. You should stop thinking about him.
你配不上他的，還是別想了。
4. Why didn't you tell me the guy lawyered up?
你怎麼沒告訴我被扣住的那人請了律師？
lawyer本來是'律師"，在美劇電影裡面會被活用為動詞，lawyer up 指“找好律師，準備好律師”
The CEO has lawyered up for the embezzlement charges.
公司的CEO已經請好律師處理挪用公款的指控。
The family can’t afford to lawyer up.
這家人沒錢請像樣的律師。

想交流交流嗎？
compare 除了指“比較”，還有“交流看法”的意思，可以說compare ideas“交流看法”
compare notes 指“交換意見，切磋”
We meet every so often and compare notes.
我們時常碰頭,交換意見。
He is now comparing notes with his co-workers about the job.
他現在就工作問題與同事交換意見。
