美國前總統奧巴馬自從卸任總統後，就一直是各種放飛自我的畫風，沒事兒沖沖浪、打打球，必要的時候再批判一下特朗普，小日子過得優哉遊哉。
不過最近，奧巴馬要“再就業”了！
本週一（5月21日），美國流媒體平臺奈飛公司宣佈，他們和奧巴馬及其夫人米歇爾正式簽訂了一份協議。
Former US President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, have struck a deal to produce films and series for Netflix Inc, the streaming service said on Monday.
Under the name Higher Ground Productions, the Obamas have the option to produce series, documentaries and feature films, Netflix said in a statement.
據知情人士介紹，奧巴馬兩口子將親自參與內容製作，並且在某些節目中出鏡。這份多年協議的具體條款尚未得知，不過第一款節目面世可能要等到2019年5月份才行。
The Obamas will have hands-on involvement in producing content and will appear personally in some of the shows while curating others, said a person familiar with the deal. Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed and the first of the programming is not expected to reach viewers until about May 2019, the person said.
所以，我們並不能判斷奧巴馬會拿到多少“片酬”，不過從奈飛1.25億的用戶群體來講，想看奧巴馬的人不會少。
類似的獨家制片模式在好萊塢比較常見，比如奈飛公司就吸引了包括珊達•瑞姆斯和瑞恩•墨菲在內的不少一線藝人。不過和美國前總統簽署類似協議還是頭一遭。
These types of exclusive production partnerships are common in Hollywood -- in fact, Netflix has been attracting a bevy of A-listers, including Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy. But this is a first-of-its-kind deal for a former US president.
比較接近的例子是美國前副總統戈爾，2007年，他的全球變暖紀錄片《難以忽視的真相》還拿了2007年的奧斯卡獎。戈爾在2005年就開設了面向青年的電視網絡Current TV。只不過2013年，Current TV被出售給中東的半島電視臺，隨後就關掉了。
The closest comparison is former US Vice President Al Gore, whose global warming documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” won an Oscar in 2007. Gore also launched a youth-oriented cable TV network, Current TV, in 2005 but it was sold to Middle-East based Al Jazeera in 2013, which later shut it down.
但是對於相關內容，奧巴馬方面也是守口如瓶，並沒有透露他們的節目內容將會涵蓋哪些話題。
奧巴馬與奈飛的協議最早在今年3月份就被媒體關注了。當時《紐約時報》報道，奧巴馬可能做一檔談話節目，內容與他執政時期的熱點話題相關。而米歇爾則可能做一檔營養類節目，她在白宮時期就比較關注這類話題。
The talks with Netflix were first reported back in March. Back then, The New York Times described two potential shows. In one, "Mr. Obama could moderate conversations on topics that dominated his presidency." Another show "could feature Mrs. Obama on topics, like nutrition, that she championed in the White House."
不過可以確定的是，奧巴馬不會在節目中向特朗普開炮。
But the paper said there were no plans to use the shows to attack Donald Trump.
所以，我們不會看到奧巴馬在電視上吐槽特朗普了，畢竟奧巴馬當年的政策有不少都被特朗普給否了……想想還真有點小遺憾呢。（看熱鬧不嫌事兒大的微笑）
