open和close的用法區別，他們一定是反義詞嗎
close做名詞“結束，終結”，做形容詞“密切的，近的”。
close做動詞，表示“關閉”，還有一個常見的同義詞shut。
close和shut在使用時，又要注意哪些區別呢？
它們大多時候可以互換，但在一些情景下還要分別使用：
1. 門，窗，眼，嘴：
Remember to close/shut the door, if you are the last one to leave.
如果你是最後一個離開的人，記得關上門。
Close/shut all the windows. It’s going to rain.
關上所有窗戶。要下雨了。
She closed/shut her eyes and made a wish.
她閉上眼睛許了個願。
You'd better close/shut your mouth and from now on think twice before saying stupid things.
你最好閉上嘴，從現在起，在說蠢話之前三思而後行。
Marie started to say something, then closed/shut her mouth.
瑪麗開始說了句話，然後閉上了嘴。
注意：
Shut沒有close禮貌！
讓人閉嘴用shut
Shut your mouth, nobody asked you!
閉嘴，沒人問你！
Keep your mouth shut and your ears open.
少說多聽。
2. 商店，銀行等營業場所：
Could you tell me when the bank closes/shuts?
你能告訴我銀行什麼時候關門嗎？
The shopping centre opens at 10 a.m. and closes/shuts at 10 p.m.
購物中心上午10點開門，晚上10點關門/關門。
All shops in England used to be closed/shut on Sundays.
過去英國所有的商店星期天都關門。

1. 用力關
He slammed the door shut and left angrily.

The door banged shut behind her.

2. 固定短語
The thief was shut up in prison.
小偷被關在監獄裡。
It's time to shut up shop and go home.
該關店門回家了。
The theatre shut down after more than half a century.

The factory was shut down for two months as a result of the strike.
