芬蘭2006年版1歐分硬幣（收於2018年）芬蘭共和國，簡稱芬蘭；位於歐洲北部；面積為33.8145萬平方公里；總人口540.1萬（截至2011年底。海岸線長1100公里；有島嶼約17.9萬個；湖泊約18.8萬個；全國1/3的土地在北極圈內；羅瓦涅米是世界上惟一設在北極圈上的省會。
約9000年前冰河末期，芬蘭人的祖先從南方和東南方遷居至此。12世紀後半葉開始隸屬於瑞典；1581年起成為瑞典的一個公國。1809年俄瑞戰爭後併入俄羅斯帝國，成為大公國。1917年10月革命後，芬蘭於同年12月6日宣佈獨立，1919年成立共和國。1995年加入歐盟。1950年10月28日與中國建交。
芬蘭是一個高度發達的資本主義國家，人均產出遠高於歐盟平均水平；2012年全球清廉指數報告中， 名列第一，為最清廉國家。至2008年止，芬蘭共有6處世界遺產：克瓦爾肯群島、佩泰耶韋西古教堂、薩馬拉赫登邁基德銅器時代墓地、勞馬古城、韋爾拉磨木和紙板廠、芬蘭堡。

The coastline is 1100 kilometers long, there are about 179000 islands, about 188000 lakes, one third of the country's land is in the Arctic Circle, and rovanemi is the only provincial in the world located in the Arctic circle.
About 9000 years ago, at the end of the ice age, the ancestors of the Finns moved from the South and Southeast. It began to belong to Sweden in the second half of the 12th century and became a principality of Sweden in 1581. Finland is a highly developed capitalist country, whose per capita output is far higher than the average level of the European Union. In the 2012 Global Corruption Perceptions Index report. Ranked first as the most honest and uncorrupted country. As of 2008, there are 6 World Heritage sites in Finland: kwalken islands, the ancient Church of pettyevesi, the Bronze Age cemetery of samarahden mekd, the ancient city of lauma, the mill and cardboard factory of Vella, and the fort of Finland.
Mark is the legal currency used in Finland before the circulation of euro from 1861 to 2002. 1 euro = 5.94573 mark； this 1 euro red copper coin is the legal tender of Finland ； the front main figure shows the common pattern of coins of denomination and EU member countries in the euro area, namely the three-dimensional globe pattern towards the EU area. The main picture on the back uses the lion design on the original Finnish mark and the year of issue. The lion holds a sword in its forepaw and a Russian machete in its hindpaw, surrounded by 12 five pointed stars representing the members of the eurozone.
