人在職場，哪有不請假。
對於上班族的我們來說，有急事需要請假，實在是再正常不過的事了。
可是，請假是需要勇氣的，也更需要我們的真誠。
請假請不好，會一不小心被老闆認為你有意想偷懶哦。
那麼，請假用英文怎麼說呢？
一般情況下請假有好多種理由，也有申請不同的假期的，我們一起來看看不同情況，不同的英文表達吧。
一、“請假”用英文怎麼說？
1. Ask for leave
Leave在這裡不是“離開”，而是“休假“的意思。這個詞組的用法比較靈活。
你可以說：
I have to ask for leave tomorrow morning.
我明天上午得請假了。
如果請假不止一天，還可以說ask for 2 days' leave請兩天的假。
2. Take off
可能你只知道它是“起飛”的意思。請假也可以用它哦！
eg：Mr. Smith, my dad's here visiting me and I'd like to take two days off to show him around the city.
史密斯先生，我爸爸要來看我，所以我想請兩天假，帶他到處轉轉。
3. Call in sick
病得實在爬不起來，連打開電腦發郵件的力氣都沒有?試試這個吧！“Call in sick”意思是“打電話請假”。
eg：I don't feel well this morning. Perhaps I ought to call in sick.
我今天早上感覺不太舒服，或許我該打電話請個假了。
4. Pull a sickie
還有一種請假叫做裝病。Sickie在俚語裡指“病假”，但是pull a sickie意思則是“裝病請假”。
eg：He took/pulled/threw a sickie to go to the football game.
他裝病請假看球去了。
每次想請假理由，腦子都快炸了有木有，那用什麼理由，領導會更快批假呢？
二、請假理由，用英文怎麼表達呢？
1. 請病假
經典表達：
I'm not feeling well.
我不太舒服。
舉一反三：
I'm feeling a bit under weather.
我感到有點不舒服。
I came down with a fever/cold/the flue.
我發燒了/感冒了/得了流感。
I have a stomachache.
我胃痛。
I have a splitting headache.
我頭痛欲裂。
I have a bad toothache.
我牙疼得厲害。
I can't stop coughing.
我一直咳個不停。
2. 請事假
經典表達：
I have some personal business that I need to take care of.
我有點私事要處理。
舉一反三：
I got some family issues that I need to take a day off.
我有些家庭問題要解決，需要請一天假。
I have a doctor's appointment.
我預約了醫生。
I need to attend a wedding next Friday.
下週五我要參加婚禮。
3. 我想請幾天假
經典表達：
I'd like to have three days off.
我想請三天假。
舉一反三：
I'm afraid I can't come to work today.
恐怕我今天沒辦法來上班了。
Can I take next Tuesday off?
下週二我能請假嗎？
I will miss two days next week.
下週我有兩天不能來上班。
I wonder if it is possible for me to come in a bit late tomorrow?
不知道我明天可不可以稍微晚一點來？
三、不能上班，找人代班，用英文這麼說呢？
請人代班
經典表達：
Could you cover for me on Friday?
週五的班，你能替我嗎？
舉一反三：
Can you finish it instead of me?
你能代我完成這個工作嗎？
Would it be possible if I switched my Tuesday shift for yourFriday shift?
我想把週二的班和你週五的班換一下，可以嗎？
