嗯？看的時候覺得丈二摸不到頭腦。“Find your feet”並不是“找到你的腳”哦！那是啥意思？
1. Find your feet
當你聽到find your feet，它表示to adjust to a new place or situation。
意味著你到達了一個新的環境，你需要重新的調整你的步伐，去適應這個新的環境，這個時候我們叫做find your feet。
① I know you're nervous, but all new colleagues are—you'll find your feet in the company soon don't worry.
我知道你很緊張，但是所有的新同事都和你一樣——你很快就會適應公司的生活，別擔心。
② After moving from China to America, it took me a long time to find my feet.
從中國搬到美國後，我花了很長時間才適應。
2. Vote with your feet
“Vote with your feet”是不是“用腳投票”？是什麼意思？
我們知道Vote表示投票，To vote with your feet means to physically depart from something as a way of showing disapproval。
實際上它確實跟投票有關，就是身體力行的表示，你不贊成，不喜歡，某個東西或者事情。
難怪要用腳去投，我都懶得理你，用腳去幫你投已經很夠意思了。這個表達特別常用於，那些通過摔門離開或者遠離某個地方來表示不滿的行動。
英語例句：
① The economic downturn has made a lot of rich people vote with their feet.
經濟衰退迫使很多有錢人離開了這裡。
② If customers don’t like the new shopping mall, they’ll vote with their feet and go elsewhere.
如果顧客不喜歡新的購物中心，他們會選擇離開，然後去別的地方。
3. Drag your feet
另一個詞組是叫做drag your feet。drag表示拽，drag your feet直譯過來就是趿拉著拖鞋走路。但是它還有第二個引申義哦。
To drag your feet means to do something very reluctantly or unwilling to do something。
所以它表達的是，非常不情願的做某事，或者是跟咔咔一樣拖拉偷懶，延遲做某事。
你想象一下，你媽第520次叫你去相親！你是不是萬般不情願？拖拖拉拉不想走，可不就是drag your feet麼。
英語例句：
① The meeting is so important that we can't be late for it, so quit dragging your feet and get in the car!
這個會議很重要，我們不能遲到，所以別拖拖拉拉的，上車去！
② How much longer will you go on dragging your feet about whether to take out a loan?
你還要拖多久才決定是否貸款？
