1. look for 意為“尋找”，強調找的動作和過程。
eg: Look, Lucy lost her key again, so her family is looking for it everywhere(找的動作).瞧，露西又把鑰匙丟了她的家人正在到處找呢。
Mom, I looked for the pet around the house, but I didn't find it. (look for指動作，find指結果)媽媽，我在房子周圍找了寵物，但是我沒有找到她。
2. find意為“找到;發現”，強調找的結果。
eg: Finally, she found a good job after one year.(找的結果)最終，在一年後，她找到了一份好工作。
No one believed he could find her mother in supermarket, but he did. After all, he is only three years old.沒有人相信他能在超市裡找到他的媽媽，但他找到了，畢竟，他只有三歲。
3. find out 意為“查出;獲知;弄清楚”，強調經過研究、調查而得。
eg: Can you find out when the early plane will fly?你能弄清楚最早的飛機什麼時候起飛呢？
I have to find out the true about her missing. 關於她的始終我必須得查明真想！
