Not a dad but I write in all caps. I had pretty bad handwriting growing up and went to all caps in college when I had problems reading my own notes.
It’s pretty difficult to write in all caps and have it be illegible.
edit : this appears to be pretty common amongst engineering students I guess.

My dad is electrical engineer and can confirm. Writes in all caps, but the first letter is a bigger cap. I started to do the same cause I noticed it was easier for people to read.

There are actually differences in the average width of mens vs womens feet at the same sizes. Typically in the heel and toe box. It does't make a huge difference for day to day shoes, but athletic shoes like running or basketball it could make a difference in terms of comfort.
