  1. Implementing marketing strategy and recruitment campaigns in China to hit student recruitment target.

  2. Attendance at exhibitions, fairs and other promotional activities

  3. Arrangements for promotional / alumni events, and supporting active alumni network

  4. Maintaining and developing partners and agents relationships

  5. Counseling of walk-in students and answering telephone consulting enquiries

  6. Providing market research reports

  7. Admissions, as required by Administration and Recruitment Officer, e.g. checking applications, decision making, offer making and student record system operation etc...

  8. Arrangements for visiting academics and International Office colleaguesfrom Portsmouth

  9. Other reasonable duties for the level of the post, as required by the General Manager

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) and 3 years’ comparable work experience -Essential

  • Relevant postgraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) - Desirable

  • Professional marketing qualification – Essential

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills - Essential

  • Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills both written and oral in both Chinese and in English - Essential

Contract Issue

Fixed term contract with CIIC(renewed every 2 years agreed by both parties)
