Set a Goal 設定目標
學生們總是在不停地學習和成長，而且總有改進的空間。所以，你在為學生寫評語時至少要設定一個你將在接下來的季度與學生一起完成的具體目標，你可以使用下面的評語來幫助你設目標，例如：
- Your child would benefit from . . .
- This quarter we will be working on . . .
- I would like to see your child work on . . .
- Your child needs to pay closer attention to . . .
- One area for improvement is . . .
Closings 結尾部分
建議老師也以積極的態度結束評價，因為這對學生的信心起到了推動作用。可以讓他們知道老師對他們所做的事情感到多麼自豪，也讓他們知道老師是多麼期待即將到來的事情：
- I am so proud of all you have accomplished. Keep up the wonderful things you are doing!
- You are an amazing student, and you truly shine!
- I can hardly wait to see how you impress me during the next quarter!
- You have had a terrific quarter, and I am confident the next one will be even better!

我會經常把我的評論寫在一個Word文檔裡，然後把它保存起來，這樣就可以經常回顧。一方面，這有助於喚起我的記憶，而且舊的評論通常能激發出我新的想法。最重要的是，這還可以幫你節省一點時間，幫助你記錄學生的成績。
