受全球新冠肺炎疫情影响，第44届世界遗产委员会会议（世界遗产大会）将推迟举办。
第44届世界遗产大会由联合国教科文组织主办，中国政府承办，原定于2020年6月29日至7月9日在福建省福州市举行。
In light of recent developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic, UNESCO has decided the 44th session of the World Heritage Committee, initially scheduled for June 29 through July 9, will be postponed to a later date. The announcement was made on April 15.
这也是继2004年在苏州举办的第28届世界遗产大会后，时隔16年又一次在中国举办的国际盛会！
福州上下杭
新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，大会筹委会与联合国教科文组织保持密切沟通，高度关注疫情对大会造成的影响。
根据当前全球疫情态势，世界遗产委员会主席团一致决定推迟举办第44届世界遗产大会。新的会期将由有关方面另行商定后发布。
The 44th session of the committee was planned to be held in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province. It would be the second time for China to host such a key event on cultural heritage after 2004 in Suzhou, Jiangsu province.
福州三坊七巷
福州是福建重要的文化中心，建城历史悠久，素有“海滨邹鲁”的美称，被列入第二批国家历史文化名城，拥有众多非物质文化遗产。
据悉，在做好新冠肺炎疫情防控的前提下，福州正持续有力有序推进世界遗产大会的各项筹备工作。
According to the National Cultural Heritage Administration, the session could still be held this year, but it will depend on the development of the pandemic.
"Consultations are currently underway to determine the exact dates of the session," the online announcement of UNESCO read. "Further information will be provided as soon as possible."
开元寺
我国今年唯一的申遗项目古泉州（刺桐）史迹（暂定名），新增的德化窑遗址（屈斗宫、尾林、内坂三处窑址）、古泉州（刺桐）史迹申遗第三期考古南外宗遗址及市舶司遗址等遗产点考古工作也已展开。

The committee is an annual occasion inscribing new World Heritages. The only Chinese candidate seeking the status is Historic Monuments and Sites of Ancient Quanzhou (Zayton) in Fujian, marking a key harbor for the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
