我們在談論兩件事情，或者兩樣東西，或者兩個人的時候，經常涉及到both，either，neither這三個詞 。
我們來看看例子：
Dr. Wilson has two children.Both are married.==（Both=two children)
Wilson醫生有兩個孩子，他們都結婚了。
Would you like coffee or tea? You can have either.==（either=coffee or tea）
你想要喝咖啡清空是喝茶呢？--你可以選兩者中的一個。
Do you want to go to the cinema or the theatre?
--Neither. I want to stay at home.(Neither= not the cinema or the theatre)
都不想要。我想要呆在家裡。
與名詞搭配
both，either，neither都可以與名詞搭配
both+複數名詞，比如：
both girls/ books/ cars......
either/ neither+單數名詞，比如：
我們一起來看看例子：
I decide to go to Italy and Paris this year. I like both cities very much.
我打算今年去意大利和巴黎，我很喜歡這兩個城市。
It wasn't a good football match. Neither team played well.
這場足球比賽不好看，雙方踢得都不好。
There are two ways can go to the station, you can go either way.
這兒有兩條路可以去到車站，你可以決定其中一條。
與of搭配
both，either，neither都可以與of搭配
同樣的，both of 以複數形式出現，either/ neither以單數形式出現。
Neither of them is married.
他們兩個都沒結婚。
I haven't read either of these books.
這兩本書我都還沒讀。
Both of them are 21 years old.
他們倆都是21歲。
