A: I need to see your passport, please.

A: How long are you going to stay?

語法解釋：
I need to see your passport 和 May I see your passport？ 的意思是一樣的，前一句是官腔，後一句客氣些。
當海關人員問你What’s the purpose of your trip? (你此行的目的是什麼？）你可以回答 For business.(商務) 或 For pleasure.(旅遊) 兩種

1. 有多少人隨行
A: Is there anybody traveling with you?
有沒有人跟你一起來？
B: No, I am traveling alone.
沒有，我是自己一個人。
2. 是否要去另外一個國家。
A: Is there any other country you are going to visit?
你還要去其他的國家嗎？
B: No, sir.
不去
3. 還要去其他國家。
Yes,sir. I’ll also visit Cancun, Mexico.
是的，我還想到墨西哥的坎昆去玩。
4. 回答停留多久。
A: Then, how long are you planning to stay here?
那麼， 你要在這裡停留多久？
B: One month.

Part 3 Travel Tips ( 旅行小貼士）
到美國旅遊最掃興的是海關檢查非常嚴格，移民局也很嚴格。 通常海關會問你 Do you have any relatives living in the States? ( 你在美國有沒有親戚？）除非你的目的很明顯， 要不然儘量回答No,sir. (沒有) 免得讓移民局認為你要投靠親戚不回國了，這樣他會拒絕你入境。
