Dating back to March 23, 2016, the First Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) Leaders' Meeting was held in Sanya, Hainan, marking the official launch of the LMC mechanism that aims at long-term friendship and economic cooperation between the six countries including China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
Recently, HIMC reporter learnt from Hainan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office that fruitful cooperation has been achieved between Hainan and the five cooperation countries over the past 4 years.
