1.“the other day”大家知道是什麼意思，字面意思是“幾天前;前兩天，前幾天，日前，前些日子”其實這個詞的內涵意思是：不久前的某一天的一個比較模糊或不確定時間點：

2.one fine day
“One fine day”從字面看是“美好的一天”但是在表示一個未知的時間的時候可以引申為“突然有一天”，“總有一天”。（小編理解為過去的時間：突然間在某個不確定的或不顯眼的一天（的某個未知的時間）） one fine day的英文解釋：Suddenly on some unspecified or unremarkable day；at some unspecified or unknown time也就是突然間在某個不確定的或不顯眼的一天（的某個未知的時間）。例如：
I hadn't seen him for ten years. Then one fine day he just turned up.我有10年沒見他了，突然有一天他出現了。

4.great day
也不是表示“好的一天”，而是可以用在句子開口表示“我的天啊！”，我們熟悉的“我的天啊”一般是用“Oh my god!”，但是在國外其實這句話不是經常說的，而且也不能隨便說。在面對虔誠的宗教徒的時候“God”可是非常神聖的，是不能夠隨便稱呼的。
就算不是宗教信徒也不是很常說“Oh my god!”，這句話只在很驚訝的時候說，平常說大家只會覺得你戲很多，所以還是使用“great day”好一點。例句：
Great day! I didn’t expect to see you here. 我的天啊！沒想到能在這裡見到你。
當然，great day，也表示：一個不同尋常的日子
