1. MBA專業文書寫作要點
如果說優異的GMAT成績證明了申請者的智力水平和標準化考試能力、突出的GPA成績體現了申請者良好的學業歷史記錄、傑出的全職工作經歷展現了申請者的獨特性和已具有的分析解決問題能力、那麼申請文書Essay則是對申請者整體素質的綜合表現，對商學院錄取評審委員會的決定有著重大影響。去美國讀MBA專業留學文書要怎麼寫，才能獲得招生官的青睞呢？
（1）領導能力。指申請者能夠將不同類型的人才緊密團結在自己身邊，充分發揮其聰明才智，使其在一個高效團結的組織中圓滿地完成各自的分工，最終能夠使整個組織實現自己的目標。這是一個未來的商業領袖所必須具備的能力，也是幾乎所有的美國商學院在Essay寫作要求中都會明確規定的項目。
（2）處理複雜問題的能力。指申請者能夠在種種壓力下成功地處理某個複雜的問題，這是職業經理人必備的工作能力。MBA學生在畢業後大多將進入公司的重要管理崗位，他們每天所要處理的事務必然比一般員工所面臨的問題更加具有挑戰性，因此商學院在錄取新生時也非常看重這項能力。
（3）團隊合作精神。任何一個企業都是由不同的個體所組成，個人的能力再強也是有限的。真正優秀的商業領導人能夠通過靈活處理上下級之間和同事之間的人際關係來增強整個團隊的凝聚力，使整個集體能夠發揮出比單個個體之和更大的威力。因此團隊合作精神也成為商學院錄取新生時希望在Essay中看到的重要特徵。
（4）良好的道德品質。儘管商業競爭激烈，但良好的道德品質始終是美國商學院要求每個申請者都必須具備的基本條件。美國綜合排名前十的商學院一般都會要求申請者寫一篇遇到"倫理困境（Ethical Dilemma）"時如何進行處理的Essay,以此來考察申請者的道德品質。在寫這樣的Essay時，需要申請者對以往的生活和工作進行回憶整理，找到一些充滿了各種思想鬥爭和道德鬥爭的典型實例，以充分體現自己的道德水準和綜合素質。
比如南加州大學的文書之一：
If you could pack the story of your life in a briefcase with 10 items, what items would you pack and why? Respond in list form.
1. A pair of comfortable sports shoes
I love exploring the world and experiencing it with my feet. With comfortable sports shoes, I travelled across the desert of Dubai, climbed the mountains in southwestern China and jumped from 200 meters’ high bungee platform.
2. An umbrella
As per Murphy’s Law, "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong". People complains about raining when they do not take umbrellas. I am the one who always have a plan B.
3. A bag of wet tissue
Slight mysophobia, wet tissue makes me always tidy and clean. Perfectionism makes me not perfect buy I enjoy all plans can be done systematically and prudently.

In my view, being at the very center of business doesn’t mean that I should locate in New York, Hong Kong or Shanghai, but being close enough to those great business leaders. CBS not only owns world renowned scholars, but many of them are great leaders in their fields. They have insight about industrial development, the society and world economy.
需要注意的點：
a. 無需重複自己的申請信息如GPA,GMAT成績，相反，申請人應該通過essays給招生委員會一些表面上看不到的信息，如：自己面對競爭的態度和方法如何等。
b. 注重細節的描寫，不要什麼都泛泛而談
c. 強調真實性，尤其是人物的真實性，那就是說描寫內容不要太誇張
2. MBA專業推薦信寫作
除了常見的推薦信內容外，還會涉及到特殊題目，如：
Describe the most important piece of constructive feedback you have given the applicant. Please detail the circumstances and the applicant’s response. (500 words)
