Teacher:不太對哦。這兩句話其實是我們今天要學習的兩個新句型。
（too...to和enough to結構）
1.too+形容詞/副詞+ to do sth. “太......而不能做某事”
2.形容詞/副詞+enough to do sth. “足夠......做某事”
Molly，你能重新說下第二句話是什麼意思嗎？
Molly：她太忙了而不能接你的電話。
Teacher:Excellent！這兩個結構都表示事情的某種結果，因此在某些情況下可以和so...that...引導的結果狀語從句轉換。
（so...that和too...to及enough to的轉換）
1.當so...that引導的從句為否定式且從句主語與主句相同時，so...that可以轉換成too...to或enough...to的否定結構；當so...that引導的從句為否定式且從句主語與主句不相同時，so...that可以轉換成too...for sb. to或enough for sb. to的否定結構，而且，轉換成enough for sb. to的否定結構時，形容詞（副詞）要用相應的反義詞。
例如：
She is so young that she can’t go to school. 她太小了，還不能去上學。
在這個句子中，so...that引導的從句 she can’t go to school是否定句式，且主句和從句的主語都是she（例句上兩個she），所以其轉換成too...to的結構為：
She is too young to go to school.
轉換為enough...to的否定結構為：
She isn’t old enough to go to school.
注意young要換成相應的反義詞old。
The box is so heavy that he can’t carry it. 這個盒子太沉了，他拿不動。
在這個句子中，so...that引導的從句he can’t carry it是否定句式，主語是he，而主句的主語是The box，所以其轉換成too...to的結構為：
The box is too heavy for him to carry.
轉換為enough...to的否定結構為：
The box isn’t light enough for him to carry.
這裡也要注意把heavy換成相應的反義詞light哦。

2.當so...that引導的從句為肯定式且從句主語與主句主語相同時，so...that可以轉換成enough...to的結構；當so...that引導的從句為肯定式且從句主語與主句主語不同時，so...that可以轉換成enough for sb. to的結構。
Molly，下面這兩個so...that結構的句子你來嘗試變成enough to的結構吧！
Molly：好的，老師。
1.She is so old that she can go to school. 她年紀夠大，可以去上學了。
She is old enough to go to school.
2.The box is so light that he can carry it. 這個盒子很輕，他能拿的動。
The box is light enough for him to carry.

當enough to的句式為否定句時，enough to就可以轉換成too...to的結構，但是要注意，轉換後的形容詞（副詞）要用相應的反義詞。
比如：
She isn’t old enough to go to school. 她年紀不夠，還不能去上學。
She is too young to go to school.
