第26課：過去將來時--知識精講
一、 定義詳解：過去將來時表示從過去某個時間看來將要發生的動作或存在的狀態，常用於賓語從句
或間接引語中。過去將來時常用“would + 動詞原形”或“was / were going to + 動詞原形”
來表達。
例如：Mary told me that she would go to Shanghai by plane.瑪麗告訴我說她將要坐飛機去上海。
二、過去將來時的五種構成
過去將來時表示從過去某一時刻看將要發生的動作或狀態，也就是說，過去將來時是立足“過去”，
著眼“未來”的一種時態。 我們先看幾個例句:

I didn’t know when he would go to the park.
He said that he would wait for me at the school gate.
此種情況常用於賓語從句或間接引語中。
用“was / were going to + 動詞原形”，“was / were about to + 動詞原形”表示將來的動作或狀態。
She told me she was going to fly to Yunnan.
I was about to leave the house when the telephone rang.
和一般將來時一樣，也可用相應的其他形式表示。
過去進行時態有時可用來表示過去將來。
He said the train was leaving at five the next morning.
He said he was coming to see me.
常見於come, go等瞬間動詞。
1. She said she would go to America. 她說她將要去美國。
2. He said he was going to teach us next term. 他說他下學期將教我們。
3. We were about to get home, when it began to rain cats and dogs. 快要到家了,這時候下起了傾盆大雨。
4. She was to see him the next day. 她打算第二天見他。
5. I didn’t know when they were leaving. 我不知道他們將要什麼時候離開。
1） should/would＋動詞原形 （should只用於第一人稱，would用於各人稱）
2） was (were) + going +to+動詞原形。
3） was (were) +about to +動詞原形，表示即將發生的動作。
4） was (were) to+動詞原形”表示計劃或安排好的動作。
5) was/were + 某些動詞的現在分詞（即過去進行時）可表示過去將來時。如：
was/were + coming/going/leaving/flying/moving/arriving/starting
