其實英語單詞跟漢語一樣是有偏旁部首的，只要記住它們，遇到不會的單詞就可以猜，所以要記的東西就大大減少了。這些偏旁部首就是詞根，因為英語融合了各種語言，比如希臘語、拉丁語、法語、德語，所以詞根也來自不同的語言，根據詞根在源語言中的意思來解釋英語單詞意思的方法叫詞源學。按照詞源學記單詞又快又有意思。
希臘語前綴eu-意思是“好的”，本期學習包含這個詞根的單詞。
常見
1. euphony，[ˈjuːfəni]，n. eu好的+phon聲音，悅耳之音；悅耳；和諧的聲音。形容詞euphonic [juː'fɒnɪk]，悅耳的。
He is devoted to reader empowerment like Keats was devoted to euphony . 他致力於讓讀者覺得自己強大，就像濟慈致力於寫出悅耳的詩句。
