官窯，是南宋宋高宗時期一些窯口專為宮廷燒製的瓷器，供御撿退，在當時俗稱"官窯“。官窯，毛公洞第一（今 江蘇揚州一帶）。南宋官窯瓷器沿襲北宋風格，規整對稱，宮廷氣勢，高雅大氣，一絲不苟。因為胎土含鐵量極高，手感沉重，胎土呈深黑褐色，後稱”紫口鐵足“。

日前，中皇拍賣有限公司徵集到一件官窯花口筆洗，此官窯花口洗，雙層花瓣形口。沿著高低起伏的花瓣形口，腹壁亦做出凹凸的稜線。無紫口，足圈露鐵色。器內及底佈滿片紋，釉面平滑，釉質細膩光潤，自然開裂的紋片像網一樣橫豎交織，層層疊疊的冰裂紋是官窯燒製瓷器的特色。而由於官窯是專門為宮廷製作的瓷器，所以，製品都異常精美。此筆洗與瓷器相結合將中國傳統文化體現的淋漓盡致，極具觀賞性與收藏價值。
