The final episode of this season of Produce 101 aired last Saturday night. During the program it was revealed that Meng Meiqi, Wu Xuanyi and Yang Chaoyue were the top three winners chosen from among 101 female competitors. The top 11 young women will go on to form the new girl group Rocket Girls.
Competitor's rankings were based on audience voting through six online platforms. The top winner Meng received more than 185 million votes, surpassing Wu's 181 million.
Sweet-mannered Yang has won fans for her appearance and haters for her poor singing voice and jerky dance moves.
“My fans vote for me,” she said after people questioned her abilities. “I sit here and I’m telling you that I am not afraid.”
Others see Yang’s path to fame as a modern-day fairy tale. During the first audition, she was given the nickname “village flower” by the show’s host, pop idol Huang Zitao, prompting her fans to label themselves “villagers.”
The rise of overnight celebrities like Yang has prompted Chinese audiences to re-examine their standards for pop idols — how much looks, talent, and personality, for example, should be weighed in evaluating their overall performance.

特朗普大戰脫口秀主持人肥倫

最近，美國總統特朗普又“不務正業”了。他和《吉米今夜秀》的電視主持人肥倫懟上了。
要說特朗普和肥倫也算是“老熟人”了。早在2016年特朗普做客節目時，肥倫為了驗證特朗普頭髮是真的，就開玩笑弄亂了他的頭髮。而最近，肥倫又在自己的節目中表示自己不該在對話時將其“人性化”並做出如此親暱舉動。這下，特朗普就炸鍋了：他在推特上回懟，是因為我的頭髮你的節目才能有這樣好的收視率。不久後，特朗普又在演講中表示肥倫是“迷失的靈魂”，並稱CBS主持人史蒂芬•科拜爾為“沒有品位的人”。

You can add Jimmy Fallon, TV host of "The Tonight Show", to the list of people US President Donald Trump has contested with publicly.
In 2016, Donald Trump aired on Jimmy Fallon’s show, in which Fallon played with Donald Trump’s infamous hair. Fallon recently stated on air that he wrongly “humanized” Trump during such interview, igniting the feud. Trump then took to Twitter to say that Fallon is "whimpering to all that he did the famous 'hair show' with me… He called and said 'monster ratings.' Be a man Jimmy!" Trump also said during a speech shortly after that Fallon is a "lost soul" and that CBS host, Stephen Colbert, is a "low life."
Jimmy Fallon responded on his TV show saying “I was gonna tweet back immediately, but then I thought, ‘I have more important things to do. Then I thought- wait, shouldn’t he have more important things to do?” Both Conan O’Brien and Stephen Colbert, fellow hosts, chimed in on “The Tonight Show”, mocking the president. And so, the dispute doesn’t look like it’s coming to an end any time soon, but only time will tell how and if it ends.

“Game of Thrones” stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie tied the knot inside Scotland’s Wardhill Castle, according to People magazine.
The two met on the set of “Game of Thrones” during the second season. After two years of dating, the pair married, joined by their family, friends, and of course co-stars.
With a fairytale wedding, the bride and groomed looked stunning as they made their vows. Leslie was radiant in her lace floor-length gown, accompanied with a veil and floral headpiece. Harrington also looked dashing on their big day, with an ivory -colored blazer.
