巴塞爾藝術展（Art Basel）是全球最具影響力的藝術展會之一，它更被譽為全球藝術市場的“晴雨表”。今天，香港巴塞爾藝術展拉開帷幕。眾星雲集，無疑又是一場萬眾矚目的藝術盛會。
第七屆巴塞爾藝術展香港展會（Art Basel in Hong Kong）於今日在會展中心拉開帷幕，多達242間來自35個國家及地區的國際頂尖畫廊參加了這次盛會，其中包括21間首次參展的畫廊。

香港藝術市場越發蓬勃的景象在當下已是不爭的事實，而2013年開始來到香港的巴塞爾藝術展，無疑是這背後的關鍵所在。
實際上，巴塞爾藝術展創辦於上世紀70年代，已經經歷了長達近半個世紀的光輝歲月。香港自身所擁有的各方面得天獨厚的條件，可謂令巴塞爾這個古老的藝術博覽會具備了天時、地利與人和，在亞洲找到了它新的土壤。
