造幣總廠光緒元寶庫平七錢二分銀幣一枚，錢幣正面珠圈內鑄有滿、漢文“光緒元寶”四字，珠圈外上鐫“造幣總廠”四字，下鐫“庫平七錢二分”六字，左右兩側分鐫圓點。錢背中央為蟠龍，上端是“光緒年造”，下端英文“TAI-CHING-TI-KUO SILVER COIN”字樣(大清帝國銀幣)。本錢幣品相較好，形制規整，質地優良，呈自然包漿，但字體、紋飾均清晰可辨，字體筆法流暢，紋飾刻制工細，存世量稀少，具有較高的收藏價值。
這枚光緒元寶為光緒三十四年(1908年)天津造幣總廠鑄造。當時清政府為了壟斷鑄幣權，多次謀劃收回各省的鑄造錢幣的權利，後逢八國聯軍入侵北京，這件事情不了了之，造幣總廠的前身是由時任直隸總督，北洋“鑄造銀錢總局”1905年後改名為：“造幣總廠”大臣的袁世凱在天津負責督辦籌建的朝廷造幣總廠，1905年後改名為：“造幣總廠”。1908年造幣總廠正式開始龍洋的鑄造，這款造幣總廠的龍洋，鑄造精良，造型美觀，況且銀色和重量都達到了標準程度，市場流通後，倍受各商家的歡迎，但由於鑄造時間短，流通於市面的錢幣並不多，但這也正是此幣的尊貴之處，在民國期間就有錢幣收藏家對其進行收藏，足見其珍貴，近年來造幣總廠的光緒元寶，在拍賣會上均有價格不菲的成交記錄。此枚造幣總廠光緒元寶雖小，也可管窺社會文化一斑，雖閱歷了無情年月的洗禮，但現在仍然保留完好，具有很高的文化研究價值及收藏升值空間
