關鍵點：
Education is something left after you have forgotten you have learned.
能力——
(一)研究生階段所學不實用，工作後需要掌握新知識，所以研究生階段學習能力的提升是關鍵。
What you have learned during postgraduate period is not practical and you have to grasp new knowledge, so the capacity to improve is more important than knowledge itself.
(二)研究生階段除了學習，學生更多地接觸到專業領域的高端人士，擴展視野，這將是他們未來的很重要的平臺或資源，這些都不是知識，而更多地是一種交際能力。

問題六：你的家庭(about family)
關鍵點：需要注意的是，考官並不是為了做人口調查而提出這個問題的，所以應該避免流水賬似地介紹家庭成員;要儘量說明家人(尤其是父母)對你造成哪些方面(性格、職業規劃、做事風格等)良好的影響。可以參考以下句式結構：Just like my father, I am especially interested in history. / Though my father is an ordinary worker, his responsible attitude towards work has a great influence on me.
問題七：你的大學(about university)
關鍵點：
如果是本校考生的話，在自我介紹中就可以點到(拉近跟考官的關係)。如果是外校，考官通常會問：Why did you choose our university? 那麼我們就可以說說它與報考院校之間的異同，然後說明為什麼你選擇這個學校(I do love the atmosphere in your university. It is full of youthful spirits.);要注意的是：一定要說明你對在原來的院校接受教育心存感激之情appreciation(從好的方面說一說)，著重強調希望能被錄取，表達自己堅定的決心、展望一下未來。

問題九： What is your greatest weakness/ strength?
關鍵點：
"What is your greatest weakness?"("你最大的弱點是什麼?")
你不應該說你沒有任何弱點，以此來回避這個問題;每個人都有弱點。最佳策略是承認你的弱點，但同時表明你在予以改進，並有克服弱點的計劃。
"What is your greatest strength"?" ("你最突出的優點是什麼?")
這是很多面試考官喜歡問的一個問題。這是你“展示自己”的最佳機會，不要吹噓自己或過於自負，但要讓考官知道你相信自己，你知道自己的優點。
可以著重強調你的個性對你報考的專業有何積極作用。如果報考學術型專業，可以說自己細心(carefully，detail-oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(steady)等;如果是專業型、應用性更強一點的專業，可以說自己負責(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
