菏澤是中國牡丹之都，牡丹的栽培歷史非常悠久，有“曹州牡丹甲天下”的美譽。穀雨時節，千餘種牡丹競相盛放，庭院裡、街巷中、公園內、大田上隨處可見，奼紫嫣紅，流光溢彩。紅牡丹鮮嫩欲滴，白牡丹清爽秀麗，紫牡丹端莊大氣，綠牡丹高貴典雅，複色牡丹風姿綽約。您來這裡，一定會被牡丹沁人心脾的芳香迷醉。
除了欣賞牡丹的美麗，您還可以品嚐清新的牡丹茶，爽口的牡丹糕，回味無窮的牡丹宴，購買牡丹鮮花精油、牡丹洗護用品等等。尤其以牡丹為題材的文化創意產品，非常有特色，比如我手邊的牡丹瓷盤，它作為特色文創產品在故宮展示銷售，深受遊客喜愛；還有鉅野畫師創作的《花開盛世》《錦繡春光》等巨幅畫作，在青島上合峰會和上海進博會大放異彩。可以說，牡丹文化已經深深融入大家的衣食住行中。
