Part 1 ：語法講解
時態: 一般過去時
概念：表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態，有時也表示過去經常或反覆發生的動作。
例如： He left home at half past five yesterday. 他昨天五點離開家的。
Li Ming always went to work by bike in the past. 過去李明總是騎自行車去上班。
用法：
u (1) 表示過去某個特定時間發生的動作或存在的狀態。
e.g. She suddenly fell ill yesterday．她昨天突然病倒了。
We didn’t have classes last week．上週我們沒有上課。
u (2) 表示過去的習慣性或經常發生的動作。
e.g. I went to the cinema once a week when I was at school.
表示過去一段時間內經常或反覆發生的動作，也可以用“would+動詞原形”或用used to加動詞原形。
e.g. When he was young, he would go skating every winter.
Mrs Smith used to have a big house in downtown,
u (3) 敘述過去連續發生的一件件事。
e.g. She got up early, fetched water, cleaned the room and then went out for a walk.
她早早起床、提水、打掃房間然後出去散步。
u Ⅱ．Time expressions referring to the simple past tense
（與一般過去時相關的時間短語）
1. yesterday, the day before yesterday.
2. last week / year / month / term…(簡稱last系列)
3. two hours ago, three years ago, a moment ago…(簡稱ago系列)
4. at + 過去點時間: 在（過去）幾點鐘
5. in / on + 過去的年/月/日，如 in 1999, in April, 2005
一般過去時亦可與today，this week，this month，this year等表示現階段的時間狀語連用。
e.g. Did you meet him today?今天你看見他了嗎？
一般過去時表示過去經常或反覆發生的動作時，常和often，always，once a week等表示頻度的時間狀語連用。
友情提醒：
(1) 對過去的時間提問使用 When；其中對過去的點時間提問還可以使用 What time；
(2) “…ago / last …”用於“一過”，用When提問， 而“since…ago / since last … (自從……以來”用於“現完)”，用“How long”提問。
分類：
行為動詞過去式
1.肯定句：主語 + be動詞過去式(was / were)
e.g. We played football yesterday.
I was in the office last night.
He couldn’t swim 10 years ago.
2.否定句： did not / didn’t + 行為動詞原形
主語+ was not / wasn’t + 其他成分
were not / weren’t + 其他成分
e.g. I was not in the office last night.
I didn't sing a song at Kangkang's party.
I didn't play video games.
3. 一般疑問句
did + 主語 +行為動詞原形
was / were + 主語 +其他成分
eg. - Did you go shopping yesterday?
-Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
-Was she 15 years old last year?
4. 特殊疑問句
特殊疑問詞 +did + 主語 +行為動詞原形
特殊疑問詞 +was / were + 主語 +其他成分
eg. - Did you go shopping yesterday?
