世界上有兩類人，有的人就像火雞，面臨巨大的災難卻不知情；有的人正好相反，他們等待著讓別人大吃一驚的黑天鵝事件發生。
假設與葉夫根尼婭一樣，你的職業取決於一個黑天鵝的意外，也就是說，你的情況與火雞相反。
智力、科學和藝術行為屬於極端斯坦，在這裡成功是高度集中的，少量贏者得到蛋糕的大部分。這似乎適用於我認為不無聊而且“有意思”的所有職業（我仍然在尋找反例，一個不無聊但屬於平均斯坦的職業）。
認識到成功的集中性並作出相應的反應導致我們受到雙倍的懲罰：社會的獎勵機制是基於正常情況的假象，荷爾蒙的獎勵機制也需要我們提供可見和穩定的成績。
它也認為世界是穩定和規矩的，它陷入了證實偏差的錯誤。
相對於我們的基因構成，世界變化得太快了，我們則被環境異化了。
Chapter 7 living in a house of hope there are two kinds of people in this world. Some people, on the other hand, wait for the black swan to surprise them. Suppose that, like evgenia, your career depends on the accident of a black swan; that is, your situation is the opposite of that of a Turkey. Intellectual, scientific, and artistic behavior belong to the extremes of Stan, where success is highly concentrated and a small number of winners get most of the cake. This seems to apply to all occupations that I consider not boring but "interesting" (I'm still looking for a counterexample, one that is not boring but belongs to the average Stan). Recognizing the centrality of success and responding accordingly leads to a double punishment: society's reward system is based on the illusion of normalcy, and the hormonal reward system requires us to deliver visible and stable results. It also believes that the world is stable and orderly, and it is caught in the error of confirmation bias. The world is changing so fast relative to our genetic makeup that we are alienated by our environment.分享到:
