Why the long face?
an informal expression to ask why someone looks sad or upset.
（非正式）詢問某人為何失落或難過的表達方式。
long face就像我們中文中常說的：拉著個臉，拉長臉，板著臉...總之都是臉色不大好看的形容方式。英語口語中人們就會用Why the long face?來問你是不是最近有什麼煩心事兒。
例句:
1) You've just got a new job a new man – you should be happy! Why the long face?
你剛找到新工作和新男友，你應該開心呀!為啥又不高興了呢?
2)A: Why the long face?
怎麼了拉著個臭臉?
B: It's difficult to explain.
很難解釋
A: Don't think too much.Maybe tomorrow will be different.
別想太多，也許明天你的想法又不一樣了。
