其实加拿大也有不同的方言
最近，加拿大网络媒体The10and3对9500名，使用35种不同方言，身处不同省份的加拿大人展开了随机调查，随后发布了一系列加拿大方言地理分布图，根据这套分布图可以发现，加拿大在语言方面有太多有意思的地方。
比如除了魁北克省以外的地区会将汽水称为“pop”
而唯有魁北克说“soft drink”
纽芬兰省以外的管毛线帽或丝绒帽称为“togue”
而纽芬兰省的部分地区管这种帽子就叫“hat
彩色铅笔在魁北克省和新斯科舍省
被称为“colored pencils”
在纽芬兰省被叫做“lead”
而其他地区则是“pencil crayons”
在卑诗省和安大略省的南部小范围地区
人们会管晚餐叫“dinner”
而其它地区却都是“supper”
除了每个地方都有自己的方言
还有在加拿大最常见的
属于自己的英文方言
