大家好！今天毛毛為大家帶來一本十分暖心的繪本：Bear Has a Story to Tell。
故事的主角是一隻總是想給朋友們講故事的熊，故事就發生在秋季之末，冬季即將到來的時候。
正在北半球經受炎炎夏天的親們，或許會感覺到格外涼爽吧！而毛毛此時所在的南半球，卻恰好是寒冷的冬季哦！
冬季對於我們人類來說，或許只是開空調，多穿衣服。然而對於小動物們來說，卻很是不同。他們有的會冬眠，有的會貯藏食物，有的會遷徙，十分忙碌。
喜歡動物的小朋友一定會感興趣：動物們究竟是怎樣過冬的呢？

It was almost winter and Bear was getting sleepy.
冬天就要到了，熊有點困了。
But first, Bear had a story to tell.
可是，熊還有個故事沒講。
"Mouse, would you like to hear a story?" asked Bear with a yawn.
"I am sorry, Bear," said Mouse, "but it is almost winter and I have many seeds to gather."
“老鼠，你要不要聽個故事？”熊打著哈欠問。
“抱歉，熊。”老鼠說，“可是冬天就要來了，我還有好多種子要收集。”
Bear helped Mouse find the seeds on the forest floor.
熊幫著老鼠在森林的大地上尋找種子。
When they had finished, Mouse said, "See you soon!" and tunneled underground to wait for spring.
完事兒後，老鼠說：“再見！”然後他鑽到了地下，等待春天的到來。
Bear took slow, sleepy steps through the forest. Fallen leaves crunched under his feet.
熊拖著緩慢的、疲憊的步伐，穿越森林。落葉在他腳下咔嚓作響。
"Hello, Duck!" said Bear, sitting down to rest his tired legs.
"Would you like to hear a story?"
"I am sorry, Bear," said Duck, "but it is almost to winter, and I am getting ready to fly south."
“你好啊！鴨子。”熊一邊坐下，舒緩他疲憊的腿，一邊說。
“你想聽個故事嗎？”
“抱歉，熊。”鴨子說，“可是冬天就要來了，我要飛向南方了。”
"I will miss you, Duck," said Bear. He raised a paw to check the direction of the wind.
“我會想你的，鴨子。”熊說。他舉起爪子，確認風向。
"I will miss you too," said Duck, and off he flew.
“我也會想你的！”鴨子說。然後它飛走了。
The sun was heavy and hung low in the sky. Bear's eyelids were getting heavy too. He counted the colors to stay awake. "Three pink clouds, two red leaves, one green..."
太陽西沉，低低的掛在空中。熊的眼皮也越來越沉。他數著顏色，保持清醒。“三片粉色的雲，兩片紅色的葉子，一個綠色的。。。”
"Frog! Hello!" said Bear. "Would you like to hear a story?"
"I am sorry, Bear," said Frog, "but it is almost winter, and I have to find a warm place to sleep."
“青蛙！你好啊！”熊說，“你要不要聽個故事呢？”
“抱歉，熊。”青蛙說，“可是冬天就要來了，我得找個溫暖的地方睡一覺。”
Bear dug a frog-sized hole between two evergreens. Then he tucked Frog in under a blanket of leaves and pine needles.
"Thank you, Bear," said Frog. "I will see you in the spring."
熊在兩株常青植物中間，挖了一個青蛙容身的洞。然後他將青蛙裹在樹葉和松針做的毯子中。
“謝謝你，熊。”青蛙說，“咱們春天見。”
Bear leaned against the old oak tree. He stretched and the yawned and scratched at his belly. "I wonder if Mole is awake?" he thought.
熊靠在老橡樹下。他伸展一下四肢，打了個哈欠，又撓了撓肚子。“不知道鼴鼠醒著沒？”他想。
"Mole? Are you there? Mole?"
“鼴鼠，你在嗎？鼴鼠？”
Mole was already asleep.
"Good night, Mole," said Bear with a sigh.
鼴鼠已經睡著了。
“晚安，鼴鼠。”熊嘆了口氣。
The first winter snowflakes began to fall...
冬季的第一片雪花飄落。。。
Many months passed and the sun returned. It melted the snow and woke the trees. Bear rolled out onto the green grass. "It's spring!" he said. "Now I can tell my story!"
數月過後，天空放晴。積雪融化，大地甦醒。熊滾到綠草地上。“春天！”他說。“現在我可以講故事啦！”
But first, bear brought Mouse an acorn.
"Thank you, Bear!" said Mouse. Mouse was hungry after a long winter.
不過，熊先給老鼠帶來一個橡果。
“謝謝你，熊！”老鼠說。老鼠在這漫長的冬季過後好餓啊。
"Welcome home, Duck!" called Bear. "You must be tired from your journey." Bear showed Duck a shady mud puddle he'd found.
“歡迎回家，鴨子！”熊說。“你一定很累吧。”他給鴨子找到一塊陰涼的泥塘。
Bear placed Frog in the sunshine till he was warm and awake. Frog opened one eye, then the other.
"Good morning!" said Bear.
熊又把青蛙放到陽光下，待他感到溫暖後醒來。青蛙睜開一隻眼，又睜開另一隻眼。
“早上好！”熊說。
Bear, Mouse, Duck and Frog waited all day for Mole to wake up.
Finally, Mole poked his nose out into the moonlight.
"Mole!" said Bear. "Would you like to hear a story?"
熊、老鼠、鴨子和青蛙，一整天都在等待鼴鼠的醒來。
終於，鼴鼠在夜色中伸出它的小鼻子。
“鼴鼠！”熊說。“你要不要聽個故事呢？”
Bear gathered his friends. He sat up straight and cleared his throat. He puffed out his chest, and with all of his friends listening...
熊召集了他的所有朋友。他坐直了身子，清了清喉嚨，挺了挺胸，好朋友們都等待著他的故事。
Bear could not remember his story. "It was such a good story," he said, hanging his head. "But winter is a very long time for a bear to remember."
熊卻想不起來他的故事了。“應該是個特別好聽的故事。”他垂著頭說。“可是冬天太漫長了，我什麼都不記得了。”
The friends sat together for a quiet minute.
朋友們安靜的坐了一會兒。
Then Mouse said, "Maybe your story is about a bear."
And Duck said, "Maybe your story is about the busy time just before winter."
"I think there should be other characters too," suggested Frog.
"Like a mole!" said Mole. "And a mouse, and a duck, and a frog!"
Bear sat up straight again. He cleared his throat, puffed out his chest, and began his story with...
然後老鼠說：“或許你的故事是關於一隻熊的。”
接著鴨子說：“或許你的故事與冬季到來前的繁忙有關。”
“或許還有點別的角色吧。”青蛙說。
“比如鼴鼠，”鼴鼠說，“還有老鼠、鴨子和青蛙。”
熊再次坐直了身體，清了清喉嚨，挺了挺胸，開始講述起他的故事。
"It was almost the and Bear was getting sleepy."
“冬天就要到了，熊有點困了。”（與開頭第一頁唯有不同的，便是不再落葉紛紛了。。。）
故事結束。

這是一本十分溫暖的繪本：故事溫暖，畫面溫暖，對白也很溫暖。
熊的形象憨態可掬。每個動作又十分溫柔，情懷滿溢。看著他睏倦而疲憊的身體，好像馬上就要睡著了一樣，卻還在堅持著走向每一位朋友。
而畫面背景從地上紛紛的落葉，到潔白的雪地，再到湛藍的天空，純淨而亮麗，生機盎然。
整個繪本就是告訴我們一個故事，這個故事的內容就是講一個故事。這真是非常拗口啊！然而毛毛覺得，這本書其實講述的是小動物們過冬的故事。
那麼動物都以什麼方式度過冬季呢？哪些動物貯藏食物(store food)？哪些動物遷徙(migrate)？哪些動物
冬眠(hibernate)？這本書都會給你答案。或許你還能想到其他動物的過冬方式嗎？
其實最讓毛毛覺得暖心的，還是熊對待每一個朋友的真心，體現在每一處的小細節中。
過冬前，幫助老鼠撿種子，幫助鴨子測風向，給青蛙鋪軟軟的窩，跟鼴鼠道晚安；過冬後，為老鼠準備橡果，為鴨子尋找泥塘，喚醒青蛙，默默等待鼴鼠的甦醒。
每一個小小的舉動都讓人覺得溫暖，處處流露著對友誼的珍視。
這溫暖無處不在，於是，我們一次又一次的閱讀這本繪本的同時，我們的心靈也得到莫大的寬慰，也成就了這本書的美好。希望你會喜歡！
